To highlight their commitment to education, Cadillac has donated the
very first production CTS VSport to be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson at
their Hot August Nights event in Reno, NV August 8 – 10. Proceeds from
the sale will benefit the Society of Automotive Engineering Foundation’s
STEM initiative, an educational outreach program designed to encourage
young students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and
Math.
The CTS VSport features a 420HP twin-turbo V6 engine, 8-speed
automatic transmission, magnetic ride control and Brembo
high-performance brakes.
In addition to this significant Cadillac, Barrett-Jackson is
featuring hundreds of other dream cars in this auction including a
pristine 1958 Chevrolet Corvette, 1936 Ford Custom Coupe, 1969 Ford
Mustang GT 428 SCJ Fastback, a 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible. For a full
